Once I lived in a caravan at Rollands Plains NSW. It was a magical place until the cicadas moved in. The noise was so immense I moved to a little house near the ocean instead.
The cicadas are a superfamily, the Cicadoidea, of insects in the order Hemiptera. They are in the suborder Auchenorrhyncha, along with smaller jumping bugs such as leafhoppers and froghoppers. They are the loudest insects in the world and there are more than 200 species in Australia.
This pendant contains beautiful wings from some of the deceased cicadas I found when I visited my caravan.

Materials are hand picked, preserved and created into something natural and wearable.
Each necklace is created with natural materials. I recommend that they not be left in direct sunlight or to be worn in the water including the swimming or in the shower to insure the integrity of the piece. The glass vials are strong and sealed but if mistreated can lead to breakage.
All necklaces are hung on an adjustable vegan friendly cord unless stated otherwise in the description or options.
